Summer Programs
Cedar Early Childhood Center's Infant and Toddler classes operate year-round.
Summer Preschool and Kindergarten Prep classes provide a seamless continuation for our CECC students and a warm welcome to new friends from the community.
June 9-13: Exploring Animals From the tiniest insects to the largest mammals, children will discover how animals live, adapt, and survive in their habitats.
June 16-20: Lava Lab A science experiment-driven theme all about how volcanoes form, erupt, and shape landscapes. In Lava Lab, children will have the chance to build their very own volcanoes, experiment with different materials to create eruptions, and learn about the science behind volcanic activity!
June 23-27: Around the World Take a cultural journey around the world, celebrating global traditions, and enjoy a tropical Hawaiian Luau with music, dancing, and island crafts.
June 30-July 4: CLOSED FOR SUMMER BREAK
July 7-11: Under the Sea Discover the wonders of the ocean through interactive play, art, and games, while learning about sea creatures and marine ecosystems.
July 14-18: Cosmic Quest Blast off into outer space and explore planets, stars, and rockets with engaging crafts, stories, and exciting space-themed activities.
July 21-25: Olympic Champions Get active with a week of fun, competitive games and challenges designed to promote teamwork and friendly competition in a mini-Olympics!
July 28-August 1: Camp Cook-Off Little chefs will get hands-on in the kitchen with simple, cooking projects, learning about food and nutrition in a fun way.
August 4-8: Wild West Week Saddle up for a Wild West adventure with cowboy crafts, games, and stories, as children learn about life on the frontier.
August 11-15: Inventors Spark creativity with fun, hands-on projects where kids become inventors, exploring simple machines and creating their own inventions.
August 18-22: Circus Fun Step right up for a week of circus-themed activities, games, and performances, culminating in a fun-filled carnival day of treats and entertainment.
